Today marks an important moment. Walk in Darkness have released their fifth album, Gods Don’t Take Calls, which is now available worldwide in digital form. Known for their cinematic blend of gothic and symphonic metal, the band opens another chapter in their poetic and mysterious universe.
Alongside the album, the official music video for Last Siren Revisited has also been released. This new interpretation of the very first Walk in Darkness song celebrates its tenth anniversary and connects the early days of the band with their present artistic maturity.

An Album of Darkness, Myth and Renewal
Gods Don’t Take Calls is more than a musical release. It is a conceptual work of nine songs that reflects on the state of humanity, the longing for meaning and the attempt to preserve light in a world that grows louder and more soulless.
The tracks move between spiritual searching, inner conflict and mythological imagery. From the questions of identity in Nico Rising to the wide loneliness of Across the Oceans and the decay of the Western world depicted in No Banners No Glory.
Songs like Mother or Towards Chang’an draw on nature, mythology and cultural history, while You Who Dream focuses on those who hold on to humanity and vision even in dark times.
This blend of poetic depth, epic atmosphere and emotional intensity makes Gods Don’t Take Calls one of the most significant works in the band’s career.
Who Are Walk in Darkness
Walk in Darkness have been one of the most distinctive projects in European metal since 2015. The creative vision emerges from the collaboration between Shaman, the composer, guitarist and conceptual force of the band, and Nicoletta Rosellini, whose unmistakable voice carries the emotional essence of the project.
They are joined by Monk Key on bass and Arcanus on drums, who form the foundation of the Walk in Darkness sound. Emiliano Pasquinelli regularly contributes additional depth and contrast with his powerful growl vocals.
A defining feature of the band is their deliberate anonymity. Masks and silhouettes symbolize an art that moves beyond individual identity and places universal themes at its center.
With their previous releases, Walk in Darkness have built an international following. More than 21 million views on YouTube, strong recognition within the metal scene and a distinctive visual and musical aesthetic make them one of the most compelling acts of the moment.
New Video: Last Siren Revisited
To accompany today’s release, the music video for Last Siren Revisited has been published. The song marks the origin of Walk in Darkness and now celebrates its tenth anniversary. The new video blends nostalgic elements with a modern visual approach, creating a bridge between the beginnings of the band and their current artistic expression.
CD Edition Announced
While the album is being released digitally today, a CD edition has already been confirmed and will follow at a later date. This gives collectors and longtime fans the opportunity to add Gods Don’t Take Calls to their physical music library.
