My story so far…
Nicoletta Rosellini is an Italian singer, born on 27 april 1991 in Lucca, Tuscany. She started her musical path as a classical pianist when she was 7 years old and joined her frst rock band as singer at the age of 15, moving her first steps on stage. She is trained as a rock/ pop singer.
Alterium
Alterium was founded in late 2022 by Nicoletta Rosellini together with her former bandmates Paolo Campitelli (guitar) and Dario Gozzi (drums), joined by Alessandro Mammola (guitar, Draconicon) and Luca Scalabrin (bass, Altair).
Under the production of Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), the band recorded their explosive debut album Of War and Flames, a full-length release that blends classic power metal influences with modern elements. The album received critical acclaim and a growing international fanbase. It was released in Europe and the US via AFM Records, in Japan through Avalon Marquee, and in Brazil through Valhall Music.
In summer 2025, Alterium returned with Stormrage, a four-track EP released independently. It features two original songs (Stormrage and Sui), a cover of Symphony X’s Paradise Lost, and a new orchestral version of the debut album’s title track.
On stage, Alterium has gained recognition through their dynamic performances at festivals across Europe.
In 2025, Alterium made their US live debut at the renowned ProgPower Festival in Atlanta, marking a major milestone for the band. Just a few weeks later, they joined Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory as special guests on tour, performing six shows across Spain and France.
The second leg of the tour will take place in November, with concerts scheduled in Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Germany.
Alterium will also appear at the Brainstorm Festival 2025 in the Netherlands, and their participation in Sweden’s Time To Rock Festival 2026 has already been announced.
The band is currently working on their second full-length album, scheduled for release in 2026.
Collaborations
Walk in Darkness
Nicoletta is the lead singer of the enigmatic modern gothic metal band Walk in Darkness since 2015. With them, she has released four albums and several singles, accompanied by stunning music videos that have collectively garnered over 21 million views on YouTube.
The band’s fifth studio album is scheduled for release in November 2025.
The Erinyes
A melodic metal band fronted by Nicoletta alongside Justine Daaé (Elyose) and Mizuho Lin (Semblant). Their debut album was released in 2022 via Frontiers Music srl. The project is currently working on their second album.

Former bands/projects
Nicoletta started her music journey as singer and songwriter in this power metal band in 2010. Before disbanding in 2022, Kalidia released two albums, “Lies’ Device” (2014) and “The Frozen Throne” (2018). Their final album was a significant success, earning Nicoletta more recognition and the opportunity to tour across Europe.

Vivaldi Metal Project
In addition to contributing vocals to both of their studio albums, Nicoletta was a member of the VMP live band from 2018 to 2022. During this time, she performed in several theater shows and participated in the release of a live DVD in 2021.
YouTube Channel
Parallel to her career in original music, Nicoletta launched her YouTube channel in 2019 with her first cover. While she initially released covers sporadically, she has more recently begun releasing a new cover every month, showcasing the versatility of her voice across genres - from metal and pop to video game soundtracks. The channel has already surpassed an impressive 1 million views.
Aside from her music career, Nicoletta works part-time as a veterinarian and is also a content creator in the fields of music, nerd culture, and gothic fashion.
