The Power Metal Force of Alterium
Founded in late 2022, Alterium unites the voice of Nicoletta Rosellini (ex-Kalidia, Walk in Darkness, The Erinyes) with her former bandmates Paolo Campitelli (guitars) and Dario Gozzi (drums), joined by Alessandro Mammola (guitars, Draconicon) and Luca Scalabrin (bass, Altair).
Their debut album “Of War and Flames” (2024), produced by Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), was released via AFM Records and went on to amass over two million views on YouTube and more than one million streams on Spotify - igniting a new flame in the realm of power metal.
In July 2025, Alterium returned with the release of their new EP Stormrage, featuring two brand-new songs (Stormrage and Sui), a powerful cover of Paradise Lost by Symphony X, and a special orchestral version of Of War and Flames – originally the title track of their debut album. Accompanied by two official music videos, the EP marks a bold new chapter in the band’s musical journey.
New Release – Stormrage EP
Alterium’s brand new EP Stormrage is out now – featuring four powerful tracks that mark a pivotal moment in the band’s evolution. Alongside the epic and melodic title track Stormrage, inspired by the story of Illidan Stormrage, the release includes the mystical and narrative-driven Sui, based on an ancient Chinese myth about the discovery of fire. Rounding out the EP are a majestic orchestral version of Of War and Flames and a bold reinterpretation of Paradise Lost by Symphony X.
With this release, the band opens a new chapter: Stormrage serves as a powerful bridge between their acclaimed debut album and the upcoming second full-length record.

Rising Power in the Metal World
Recorded in 2023 under the guidance of Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), Alterium’s explosive debut album Of War and Flames blends classic power metal influences with a modern twist. Its impact was immediate: positive critical acclaim, enthusiastic fan reception, and international distribution — including Japan (Avalon Marquee) and Brazil (Valhall Music).
Their dynamic stage presence has taken them across European festivals like Killerz Fest (Germany), Epic Fest (Denmark), Brainstorm Fest (Netherlands), and Rimini Comix (Italy), where they earned glowing live reviews.
In summer 2025, Alterium released their new EP Stormrage, further expanding their sonic universe and offering a glimpse into the band’s musical direction ahead of their next full-length.
As their journey continues, Alterium is set to appear at more European festivals in 2025, supported by their collaboration with Dragon Productions. A milestone awaits as the band will make their US live debut at ProgPower USA 2025.
Currently, the band is finalizing songwriting for their second full-length album, expected in 2026.
