The Power Metal Force of Alterium
Founded in late 2022, Alterium unites the voice of Nicoletta Rosellini (ex-Kalidia, Walk in Darkness, The Erinyes) with her former bandmates Paolo Campitelli (guitars) and Dario Gozzi (drums), joined by Alessandro Mammola (guitars, Draconicon) and Luca Scalabrin (bass, Altair).
Their debut album “Of War and Flames” (2024), produced by Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), was released via AFM Records and went on to amass over two million views on YouTube and more than one million streams on Spotify - igniting a new flame in the realm of power metal.
In July 2025, Alterium returned with the release of their new EP Stormrage, featuring two brand-new songs (Stormrage and Sui), a powerful cover of Paradise Lost by Symphony X, and a special orchestral version of Of War and Flames – originally the title track of their debut album. Accompanied by two official music videos, the EP marks a bold new chapter in the band’s musical journey.
In 2025, Alterium also made their US live debut at the renowned ProgPower Festival in Atlanta, followed by a European tour alongside Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory, performing six shows across Spain and France.
The second leg of the tour is set for November, with concerts in Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Germany. The band will also perform at the Brainstorm Festival 2025 in the Netherlands, and their appearance at Sweden’s Time To Rock Festival 2026 has already been announced.
With new music already in the works, Alterium are expected to release their second full-length album by the end of 2026, continuing their journey through the realms of epic and melodic power metal.

New Release – Stormrage EP
Alterium’s brand new EP Stormrage is out now – featuring four powerful tracks that mark a pivotal moment in the band’s evolution. Alongside the epic and melodic title track Stormrage, inspired by the story of Illidan Stormrage, the release includes the mystical and narrative-driven Sui, based on an ancient Chinese myth about the discovery of fire. Rounding out the EP are a majestic orchestral version of Of War and Flames and a bold reinterpretation of Paradise Lost by Symphony X.
With this release, the band opens a new chapter: Stormrage serves as a powerful bridge between their acclaimed debut album and the upcoming second full-length record.
You can stream all songs on major platforms and watch the official videos on YouTube. Looking to support the band? Limited signed CDs, vinyls, and exclusive merch are available now in their official shop.

From the Halls of Alterium
Rising Power in the Metal World
Recorded in 2023 under the guidance of Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), Alterium’s explosive debut Of War and Flames introduced a fresh blend of classic power metal energy and modern symphonic flair.
The album received strong international acclaim, leading to distribution deals in Japan (Avalon Marquee) and Brazil (Valhall Music) and earning the band a fast-growing global fanbase.
Since their debut, Alterium have brought their high-energy live performances to major European stages, including Killerz Fest (Germany), Epic Fest (Denmark), Brainstorm Fest (Netherlands), and Rimini Comix (Italy), where they were praised for their powerful and emotional delivery.
In 2025, the band took another step forward with their EP Stormrage, expanding their sound and setting the tone for the next chapter of their musical evolution.
Following their acclaimed appearance at ProgPower USA 2025 and their European tour with Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory, Alterium continue to rise as one of the most promising names in modern power metal.
Currently, the band are finalizing material for their second full-length album, planned for release in late 2026 — a record that promises to further define their unique fusion of melody, power, and emotion.
