In a time when darkness ruled and mankind had yet to know the comfort of flame, a young man received a dream from the god Fuxi. Guided by this vision, he set out on a long journey to the mysterious land of Sui Ming. There, he observed birds striking their beaks against the Sui Wood tree, creating sparks. Inspired by this natural phenomenon, he learned to produce fire by drilling wood.
He returned to his people with the gift of warmth and light. In honor of this turning point in human history, they named him Sui – the bringer of fire. The tale reflects both the courage of discovery and the wisdom to share it for the greater good. It is a story of transformation, of light born from perseverance.
