Firebringer

Of War And Flames

STORY

The song “Firebringer” is inspired by the ancient Greek myth of Prometheus, the Titan who defied the gods to help humankind. In a world where early humans lived without fire or light, Prometheus chose compassion over obedience. He stole fire from Mount Olympus and gave it to humanity, offering warmth, protection, and the spark of civilization.

His act of rebellion came at a great cost. Zeus, enraged by this defiance, condemned Prometheus to eternal punishment. He was chained to a rock at the edge of the world, where an eagle would come each day to devour his regenerating liver. Despite his suffering, Prometheus remained a symbol of selfless sacrifice and the eternal struggle for progress.

A Song of Power and Liberation

Musically, “Firebringer” channels the energy and urgency of this myth through a fast-paced and powerful instrumental foundation. The song features tight, rhythmic verses that reflect the tension of defiance and divine wrath. These lead into soaring choruses filled with emotion, echoing the triumph of human resilience and the undying flame of knowledge.

The lyrics speak directly to the transformation Prometheus made possible. They describe the darkness before fire, the theft from the gods, and the rise of a new light that would forever change the fate of mankind. Even as the Titan endures his punishment, the spark he delivered continues to burn and grow into a beacon of life.

A Tribute to Defiance and Hope

“Firebringer” is more than a retelling of an old myth. It is a tribute to rebellion in the name of good, to the strength of sacrifice, and to the idea that knowledge is worth any price. The imagery of broken chains, rising flames, and divine punishment speaks to a timeless theme: that even in suffering, there is meaning when it serves a greater purpose.

This track stands out as one of the most dynamic and uplifting pieces on the album, combining mythology, emotion, and pure metal energy into a song that burns bright with purpose.

Behind the Song

Lyrics

In the age of Old Gods the men were left alone

No light to guide us in the darkest night

From the highest mountain the fire has been stolen

We are not gonna die

We will stand up and fight

Free from the Tyrant and broken are the chains

Far from the cold days a new flame will arise

A Divine heat that turns into life

A new life

Falling from the peak of the Gods

And the hour of favor is gone

But this spark won′t burn out

It will prosper and rise

It will grow into a beacon of life (bеacon of life)

On top of the hill he's chainеd to a rock

An eagle was sent for his flesh and blood

A storm appears and your plan is revealed

We will never forget

We will stand up and fight

A Divine heat that turns into life

A new life

Falling from the peak of the Gods

And the hour of favor is gone

But this spark won′t burn out

It will prosper and rise

It will grow into a beacon of life

Dreaming of the warmth of your hands

And the taste of salvation is near

Freedom rises so strong

And your deeds won't go unloved

For your crime you'll be damned by the Gods

Falling from the peak of the Gods

And the hour of favor is gone

But this spark won′t burn out

It will prosper and rise

It will grow into a beacon of life

Dreaming of the warmth of your hands

And the taste of salvation is near

Freedom rises so strong

And your deeds won′t go unloved

For your crime you'll be damned by the Gods
